Fix Playbook
Publish citable, machine-readable facts
Replace vague claims with direct answers assistants can lift and cite.
Use this playbook when the report says services, service area, hours, pricing, eligibility, or trust facts are unclear.
What this fixes
- The assistant guesses or hedges on basic business facts.
- The site ranks or appears, but the answer cites a directory instead.
- The business is mentioned but not recommended.
- Buyer questions require calling because the page does not answer them.
Build fact modules
Create short, labeled sections that answer one buyer question at a time.
| Fact module | What to include | Good heading |
|---|---|---|
| Service scope | Exact service names and exclusions | "Services we provide" |
| Service area | Cities, neighborhoods, ZIP codes, counties | "Service area" |
| Hours and availability | Regular hours, emergency hours, special hours | "Hours and emergency availability" |
| Price or estimate policy | Price ranges, consultation fees, estimate method | "How pricing works" |
| Credentials | Licenses, certifications, providers, languages | "Credentials and licenses" |
| Next step | Call, book, quote, directions, order | "Book or request a quote" |

Page checklist
- Answer the question in the first sentence. Do not make the assistant infer the answer from brand copy.
- Keep passages self-contained. Include the business, service, location, and condition in the same block.
- Use labeled facts. Tables, definition lists, and short bullets are easier to extract than long paragraphs.
- Add source context. Dates, licenses, providers, and policy details make claims more verifiable.
- Mirror key facts in structured data. Visible HTML is the source of truth; schema organizes it.
How to verify
Can the assistant quote the fact?
Ask the same buyer question again. A strong answer repeats the fact accurately and can point to the page that states it.
