Fix Playbook
Strengthen findability signals
Make the business easier to discover across the prompt families buyers actually use.
Use this playbook when the business does not appear for unbranded or service-specific assistant prompts.
What this fixes
- The business appears only for branded prompts.
- Competitors appear for service, "best," or "near me" prompts.
- Assistants cite third-party lists that do not include the business.
- Business profiles or directories are missing, incomplete, or inconsistent.
Priority order
- Core profiles. Google Business Profile, Apple Business, Bing Places, Yelp, Facebook, and the highest-value vertical directories.
- Website entity clarity. Homepage, location pages, service pages, contact page, schema, and sameAs profile links.
- Prompt-family coverage. Content should answer category, service, problem, reputation, price, availability, and comparison prompts.
- Third-party evidence. Local media, chamber pages, associations, expert directories, and review platforms.
- Measurement cadence. Re-run prompt families, not a single keyword.

| Reputation | "top-rated pediatric dentist in Austin" |
| Availability | "plumber open now near me" |
| Attribute | "restaurant with patio and vegan options near me" |
| Comparison | "best insurance agent for small business in Denver" |
| Specific entity | "is Example Auto good for brake repair" |
How to verify
